iBP Review
iBP is a comprehensive blood pressure tracking and analysis tool that provides users with valuable insights into their blood pressure values. It should be noted that this app does not measure blood pressure directly, but rather requires the use of a separate device.
When it comes to analysis, iBP offers a user-friendly interface that utilizes color icons to indicate whether blood pressure values are within the normal range, high, or indicative of hypertension. Additionally, interactive graphs allow users to visualize their values over different timeframes such as weeks, months, years, and even by the time of day. These graphs provide key information such as lows, highs, averages, and trend lines through statistical analysis.
One of iBP's standout features is its compatibility with various iOS devices. As a universal app, users only need to make a single purchase to gain access on their iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Furthermore, iBP boasts a unique built-in transfer capability that seamlessly syncs data across all iOS devices.
Other notable features of iBP include easy data input using dials instead of a traditional keyboard, the ability to calculate Mean Arterial Pressure and Pulse Pressure, track one personal item (such as blood glucose or medication dosage), backup and restore functionality, multi-user support, multiple email address integration for easy sharing with healthcare professionals, various email formats for data export, passcode protection for data security, Touch ID support on compatible devices, and the option to save snapshot images of graphs.
In addition, iBP supports Apple Health integration, allowing users to import blood pressure, pulse, and weight data recorded by compatible devices (such as Omron, iHealth, and Withings). Likewise, manually inputted data in iBP can be exported to Apple Health for a seamless experience.
Speaking of Withings, iBP offers a convenient connection with the brand's Blood Pressure Monitor and wireless Body Scale. By syncing with a Withings account, users can effortlessly retrieve their blood pressure and weight data. This eliminates the need for manual data entry, and the information can be conveniently accessed through various mobile apps or web browsers.
